The central bank’s website on Friday showed his seat vacant, leaving the panel with six members, led by chairman Vitai Ratanakorn, the BoT governor. Mr Santitarn, a specialist in finance and economic development, was due to complete his three-year term as an independent member of the rate-setting panel in October. Bluebik Group Plc, a technology and business consulting firm, informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on Monday that Mr Santitarn would leave the company's board after Tuesday due to "other commitments".
