MTN To Expand its Skills Academy Programme Across its Key Markets in AfricaMTN has revealed plans to expand its MTN Skills Academy across its operating companies in Africa. The online platform known as MTN Skills Academy was launched back in 2022 to develop people across the continent as producers, consumers and innovators of digital technologies. According to MTN Uganda Chief Executive Officer, Sylvia Mulinge, it seeks to address the critical gap between digital skills training and job placement. The programme aims to provide access to digital and financial skills training across Africa. By bridging the gap between high demand and low supply, MTN says it hopes to increase digital skills and increase employment opportunities.
