PUTRAJAYA (March 16): The introduction of MY-AI Standards will anchor trusted artificial intelligence (AI) development while addressing risks associated with deepfakes and AI-generated misinformation, said Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo. The MY-AI Standards will serve as a “trust infrastructure”, providing a practical framework for the development and implementation of AI standards in Malaysia. My-AI Standards is a national digital platform that functions as a one-stop centre for learning, collaboration and support for the implementation of AI standards in Malaysia. “AI standards will therefore serve as a common language between the government, industry, investors and the people — translating digital trust from principles into practical implementation. “With the establishment of MY-AI Standards, Malaysia continues to reinforce its ambition to emerge as an AI nation by 2030 — one that not only develops and adopts AI, but also contributes to the advancement of trusted, secure, and responsible AI standards globally,” he said.
