As part of the couple’s divorce settlement last year, MacKenzie Bezos got a 4% stake in Amazon, or about 19.7 million shares, worth $36 billion at the time, making her one of the wealthiest people in the country. This is the first time that MacKenzie has moved any of her Amazon shares. The SEC filing was listed under Jeff Bezos’ name because he still votes the shares that MacKenzie owns.
