At the recent Food Awards Scotland a Glasgow restaurant was crowned the best Indian in Scotland which is no mean feat. It was a no brainer, therefore, to head along and try out Madras Cafe which was now the country’s best Indian. The chicken dish, in particular, was a delight and the paneer punjabi was cooked fantastically well. Glasgow is bursting with Indian restaurants, but it is clear why Madras Cafe currently holds the crown.
