Members of Maidenhead United Women’s team at Royal Berkshire Hospital--Maidenhead United Women’s footballers visited children in the Dolphin and Lion Ward at Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading on Thursday morning to deliver Christmas gifts and signed photos to youngsters who face a festive season under medical care. Manager Ed Jackson-Norris put a smile on the children’s faces by dressing up as a reindeer for the visit. Magpies’ midfielder Vicky Carvill coordinated the fundraising efforts to purchase gifts on behalf of the club for the children.
