Maidenhead United grind out a draw at Woking to extend unbeaten run

Photo: Maidenhead United FC--Woking 0, Maidenhead 0It wasn't the best of games - or one of their better performances in recent weeks - but Maidenhead United's goalless draw at Woking saw the Magpies extend their unbeaten run in the National League to eight matches. If the Magpies had survived a couple of close calls, they came back strongly before the interval. First Chanka Zimba flicked on Sam Barratt's free-kick and De Haviilland guided the ball onto the post. The game remained in the balance for most of the second half, however, Woking saw more of the ball and looked more of a threat without forcing any clear-cut opportunities. Alan Devonshire's side then travel to Grosvenor Vale for the away match on New Year's Day (Monday, January 1).
