But Mr Tal died after the alleged impromptu surgery with the battery-powered saw at the town's riverfront Fitzgerald Park in the early hours of February 19, 2022. A retiree, Mr Tal had been living on the town's outskirts for about two years in a four-bedroom house with his daughter, son-in-law and their children.
