A majority of Americans think the next president should select Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's successor, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll shows. Americans are not in favor, however, of increasing the number of Supreme Court seats to give the next president more influence over the court should the Senate approve President Trump's current nominee before Nov. 3, the poll conducted Sept. 21-24 found. Fifty percent of respondents said they trust 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden to pick the next Supreme Court justice, while 42% trust Trump.
