But in truth, Annie O’Brien’s dad, Jimmy, was up first thing on Saturday morning buying newspapers to savour the coverage of the show. Annie’s quip about her dad not being old enough to pick up the papers in the morning created much commentary on social media. At their home in Tullamore, Jimmy quickly added that he is actually a little younger than Ryan Tubridy!
