KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 15): Malaysia's Ministry of Transport has confirmed that the debris found in Tanzania is from the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. “As such, the experts have concluded that the debris, [is] an outboard flap, originat[ing] from the aircraft 9M-MRO, also known as MH370,” Liow said. “Further examination of the debris will continue, in hopes that further evidence may be uncovered, which may provide new insight into the circumstances surrounding flight MH370,” he added. MH370 vanished on March 8, 2014, with 239 passengers and crew onboard, triggering one of the biggest search operations in aviation history. To date, investigators are still trying to piece together the mystery behind the aircraft's mysterious disappearance.
