Mali is to receive more than $200 million to upgrade its electricity network to improve reliability and increase access. The World Bank announced that it had approved $157 million in financing from the International Development Association to support Mali’s electricity network. The International Trade Administration said electricity production in Mali is dominated by hydraulic (55%) and diesel (45%) sources.
