A prominent Malindi family that evicted squatters from their 360-acre parcel say their lives are in danger. “After the squatters lost the case in 2005, they attacked me at the farm in 2006 as we were fencing the land. He said the squatters after losing the case filed another suit in 2006 in Malindi and this time the number of squatters rose from 20 to 102. The squatters lost again and were ordered to leave the land in six months. The family resolved through the National Land Commission to offer the squatters 30 acres of land of their choice to be subdivided among them.
