Sonny Hazell was convicted of the manslaughter of Daryl Bunn, 27, following a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court, Essex. The trial heard how Daryl did nothing to instigate or provoke the incident that led to him losing his life, police said. A statement by the victim's family said they were heartbroken after the death of Daryl, who was "beautiful inside and out". The court heard how Daryl Bunn and his friend became involved in a row with a group of people outside the Iceland store in Maldon, Essex, at around 8.50pm on June 29 last year.
