A 35-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the disappearance of Billie Wynell Johnson, who went missing on Christmas Eve. The 30-year-old woman was last seen on Dec. 24 near 113th Street and 107th Avenue, and was reported missing four days later. Two weeks after she vanished, Edmonton police identified a pickup truck and its male driver in connection with her disappearance. Kenneth Courtorielle, 35, was arrested on Tuesday in St. Albert and charged with second-degree murder, Edmonton police said in a news release Wednesday. Two weeks after her disappearance, police released this photo of an individual described as a person of interest in the case.
