More than two decades after he killed his girlfriend in front of their son and fled the U.S., a former Bronx man was sentenced Monday to 20 years to life in prison for the crime. After a three-week jury trial in Bronx Supreme Court, Michael Stewart, 58 years old, was convicted of second-degree murder on Oct. 19 for killing Sophia Blair with a .380-caliber pistol in 1993.
