Murillo is among the players being considered by Manchester United as they seek a new central defender for next season. As Daily Mail Sport revealed in December, Murillo is open to leaving Forest next summer despite signing a new, improved four-and-a-half-year deal in January 2025. And it is understood the Brazilian is prominent on United’s radar as they prepare for the departure of Harry Maguire. Though Murillo and his family are settled in Nottingham, his performances have kept him on the radar of the continent’s elite. Should United qualify for Europe’s premier club competition, it would strengthen their hand when trying to sign players of Murillo’s level.
