Manchester United have decided to keep Erik ten Hag as manager after Ineos and Sir Jim Ratcliffe conducted their end-of-season review. That came after United had finished in their lowest ever Premier League position, having ended the campaign down in eighth. Meanwhile, Gareth Southgate, Thomas Frank and Roberto De Zerbi emerged as other candidates if Ratcliffe decided to sack Ten Hag. On the transfer front, United are continuing to be linked with a plethora of players ahead of the window opening. Ineos are understood to want to make much-needed changes at United this summer and the transfer window will be crucial to those ambitions.
