Manchester United face a Champions League decider next week after goals from Neymar and Marquinhos secured a 3-1 win for Paris Saint Germain. United went into the match knowing they needed just a point to book their place in the last 16 but they started slowly and the away side took advantage with Neymar scoring on the half-volley. The home side should have gone down to 10 men when Fred appeared to headbutt Leandro Paredes but despite clear evidence, the referee decided not to send the midfielder off. Then in the 32nd minute, United equalised when Marcus Rashford's shot deflected off Danilo and flew past Keylor Navas. In the second half, United went on the attack and Edinson Cavani was inches away from scoring against his old club but his shot hit the crossbar.
