Manchester United interim boss Darren Fletcher made an interesting point about the use of VAR during Wednesday's Premier League game at Burnley. United had a first-half goal ruled out by referee Stuart Attwell for a Lisandro Martinez push on Kyle Walker. Contact was minimal but Walker went down and, much to United's frustration, VAR Craig Pawson backed up Attwell's on-field decision. Dorgu accepted Walker's apology and got on with the game, with neither Attwell nor Pawson taking any action. "It didn't look great from Kyle Walker's point of view, but I like Kyle and know him as a person, so I hope the intent was to get the ball, which is what Patrick thought at the time," said Fletcher.
