Reports last week claimed that United have agreed personal terms with Varane, with the 28-year-old set to sign a five-year contract with the Premier League club. United, however, have yet to reach an agreement with Real Madrid over a fee for the World Cup winner. Madrid are due to play Scottish champions Rangers in a friendly at Ibrox on Sunday.
