Manchester United reportedly held a meeting with their women’s team on Friday before ruling that Antony would be allowed to rejoin Erik ten Hag’s first team. The winger is under investigation by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) and authorities in Brazil following allegations of domestic abuse and physical aggression made by his ex-girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin. The Brazilian delayed his return to England as a result, remaining in Brazil. Antony has not been arrested or charged in either country and strongly denies the allegations made against him. However, prior to the club statement being released, club officials ensured that the women’s team were well-informed about the situation.
