‌Sancho, 25, joined the Red Devils back in the summer of 2021 from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth £73million in total. ‌After spending the last two campaigns away from the club on loan, Sancho was always expected to depart Manchester United on a permanent basis this summer. This comes off the back of Sancho failing to secure a permanent move away last summer. ‌He had seemed poised to join Chelsea after joining them on loan with an obligation to make the move permanent for £25m. But with Sancho starting just six of Villa's 20 Premier League games so far this term, it seems unlikely it will be triggered.
