Despite struggling with broken ribs, Shaw helped England reach their first European Championship final by making three assists in five games. The 26-year-old then scored in the final to give England an early lead over Italy. ‘He [Shaw] was the best player in the tournament,’ Carlos told GQ Magazine. He’s had a tremendous couple of years with us.’Shaw will hope to help Manchester United enjoy a productive campaign in 2021-22, with their season kick-starting on August 14 against Leeds United.
