Gareth Southgate risks causing disharmony among his squad if he continues to play Harry Maguire ahead of Euro 2024, according to former England international Lee Sharpe. Maguire is out of favour at Manchester United but continues to represent England, drawing concerns about next summer's major tournament. But Southgate has kept faith in the 30-year-old, regularly playing him alongside John Stones in England's first-choice pairing. And Sharpe believes Southgate is playing a risky game by insisting on playing Maguire while he is out in the cold at Old Trafford.
