Manchester United have contemplated hiring Massimiliano Allegri as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's replacement, it has been claimed. The Red Devils manager is back under pressure after seeing his side lose 2-0 to Burnley at Old Trafford on Wednesday night. And Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has claimed that United have thought about hiring Allegri as the Norwegian's successor. During his time with the Old Lady Allegri was a huge success, winning five straight Serie A titles. The Italian also guided Juventus to four Coppa Italia triumphs and helped them reach Champions League finals in 2015 and 2017.
