A man has been arrested after an assault last summer left two people with “life-altering injuries,” police say. Police say a 21-year-old man and 17-year-old woman were found unconscious in a park near King and Church Sts. Paramedics at the time said they received the call at 3:20 a.m. and arrived at the scene to find both victims unconscious. Caroline de Kloet said back in July that someone passing by saw the two victims sleeping on the street, or in front of a building, before the attack took place. The two sustained life-altering injuries, according to a news release Thursday.
