The 22 year-old Tanjimul Islam Rion was arrested from Chowdhurypara area in Dhupchanchia upazila at around 12:05 am on Friday during a drive, said Imran Mahmud Tuhin, inspector of Bogra Cyber Police. The arrest came after a victim’s mother filed a complaint against Rion under the Pornography Control Act, said Imran Mahmud Tuhin. He stored the photos and videos and embezzled money from the women, threatening to release the photos and videos on the internet, he also added. Rion was remanded for three days in the case filed under the Pornography Control Act, the Inspector said.
