Abdelmohaimen Mohamed, 33, from Manchester, appeared at Sefton Magistrates Court today, Wednesday February 25, where he admitted ticket touting. ‌This came after he was seen trying to sell tickets to a couple from Seattle, USA, outside Anfield ahead of Liverpool's home match against Arsenal on August 31 last year. ‌This suggested he was involved in commercial-scale ticket touting, Merseyside Police said. ‌Following an investigation from the force, it was revealed Mohamed specialised in selling tickets to fans from Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Today, he pleaded guilty to the charges of sell/otherwise dispose of a ticket for a designated football match.
