Sharing his story anonymously, the man said that he hadn't seen his father much as he developed alcohol problems, which eventually contributed to his death. "I want to do more for my wife’s birthday, but I feel she’s being incredibly insensitive about what I’m going through. "You just went through a major trauma, and she's making it about a failure to celebrate her birthday properly. "I would be damned if the day after I found my mother dead someone started fussing I wasn’t celebrating their birthday."
