Steven Paul Craig, 57, now stands accused of her murder between 18 April 1998 and 23 August 2019. The Recorder of Bristol His Honour Judge Peter Blair QC remanded Craig in custody pending a pre-trial preparation hearing on August 16. Avon and Somerset Constabulary said last week: "Steven Paul Craig, 57, of Brailsford Crescent, York, has been charged with murdering Jacqueline Kirk. "Jacqueline was 62-years-old when she died in August 2019, 21 years after being set on fire in Weston-super-Mare."
