Nyamira High court Judge Esther Maina has convicted a man, Geoffrey Obaye Bogonko for the murder a police officer Samuel Ngunyi Wambui at Vallet Club Keroka Township, Nyamira County. The deceased was a driver attached to Masaba North Critical Infrastructure Protection Unit (CIPU) in Nyamira County. “I am satisfied that all the ingredients of the offence of murder have been proved against the accused beyond reasonable doubt. The accused then said that he had forgotten his shopping in the bar and the Manager went and got it for him. The manager went for the beer himself only to return and find the accused had gone back inside.
