A man has died after he was crushed by a train in Athi River, Machakos County. The tragedy occurred in Tusky’s area within Athi River town on Friday. The incident happened near the Athi River railway bridge at around 1.00 pm. “The deceased is a well-known resident of Athi River town. He works at a local company within the town a few metres of the Nairobi – Namanga road,” Komo told the Star at his office premises in Athi River town on Friday.
