The Special Investigations Unit is leading the investigation into a fatal police-involved shooting in Mississauga. Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. to calls of a domestic disturbance near Paula Court in Mississauga, said Peel police Cst. A woman had called police saying her husband had left the home with a firearm, said Special Investigations Unit spokesperson Monica Hudon at a news conference. Four officers fired at the man, who was struck multiple times, and was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
