more-inA 21-year-old man was found dead in south Delhi’s Ambedkar Nagar on Thursday afternoon, the police said, adding that they suspected ‘drug overdose’ as the cause of death. Tughlakabad Extension resident Asad Mallik was found dead near the library gate of Jamia Hamdard University. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Vijayanta Arya said, “The police control room received regarding a man lying dead at 2.30 p.m. His body has been sent for post-mortem,” said Ms. Arya, adding that inquest proceedings have been initiated. “We knew he about his drug use but we don’t know whether he overdosed or was killed,” he said.
