Police are investigating a shooting in Dartmouth that injured one man and put a hospital into lockdown. Halifax Regional Police say officers were called to the 500 block of Portland Street around 9 p.m. Friday about a shooting that had just taken place. Police say a man showed up to Dartmouth General Hospital suffering from gunshot wounds about 30 minutes later. They confirmed the victim is a 33-year-old man who has non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
