Taiwan has not approved any bird flu vaccines, and the manufacture, importation, sale or use of such products is illegal under the Veterinary Drugs Control Act, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency said the same day. Prosecutors and staff from the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine count illegally imported avian influenza vaccines at an unidentified location on Jan. 23, 2024.
