A man has been jailed for breaking into a Nando's restaurant in Oldham and stealing cash. Neil Robb, of Lower Lime Road, Oldham, broke into the restaurant on Parliament Square just after 1am on August 30 this year and entered as a trespasser. At Manchester Magistrates' Court on December 4, Robb pleaded guilty to burglary and was given a jail sentence of 26 weeks, along with being ordered to pay £50 in compensation. Eight days later on October 12, the 29-year-old failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates' Court as part of his bail conditions. At Tameside Magistrates' on December 4, the 29-year-old pleaded guilty to cultivating cannabis and failing to surrender to court and was sentenced.
