A man has been jailed for stealing baby milk from a shop in Manchester. Zahid Hussain, of Tate Street, Glodwick, stole £28 worth of baby milk from the Co-op shop outside Manchester Piccadilly train station on January 26. The day after the offence, the 39-year-old appeared at Sefton Magistrates' Court where he pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. On January 15, the 42-year-old failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates' Court, having been released on bail on November 20, two days after the attempted theft. On January 27, Mahmood appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court, where he pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court, having pleaded guilty to the attempted theft on November 20.
