Police on Wednesday retrieved her body from a sack that was dumped in a waterbody in Karmolla village of Noakhali Sadar upazila. The arrested have been identified as Yasin Arafat, 26, the main suspect and partner of the victim, and his associate Md Rasel, 24. OC Nabir Uddin said Yasin Arafat developed a romantic relationship with Shahana, in talking over the phone. Thereafter, Yasin and his accomplice Rasel killed her at an under construction building in Noannoi union of Sadar upazila, said OC Nabir on Thursday, quoting the suspects. "After retrieving the body, police arrested the suspects of the murder within 24 hours," OC Nabir added.
