As a way to thank the vets who saved Scout's life and to raise money for the university's veterinary programme, David purchased a £4.6 million ($6m) Super Bowl Ad. "We’re thrilled to share with Super Bowl viewers how our profession benefits beloved animals like Scout and helps people, too." The 30-second ad, titled "Lucky Dog" will air in the UK on Sunday 2 February during the second quarter of Super Bowl LIV. Scout also featured in last years Super Bowl ad, promoting the company's car, home and pet care accessories. According to the university, David lost three dogs to cancer in the past, which is the number one cause of illnesses and death in older dogs.
