MANILA, Philippines — A 33-year-old man, who had been wanted for rape since 2004, was arrested in Las Piñas City on Wednesday, according to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO). The suspect was identified as Lindon Abian, who is tagged as the most wanted person nationwide. ADVERTISEMENTPolice arrested Abian on learning from an informant that the suspect was reportedly seen at Metrocor Site in Barangay Almanza Uno, Las Piñas. Members of the NCRPO Regional Intelligence Division (RID), the Cavite Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and the Las Piñas City Police Station arrested Abian at 5 p.m. Abian was accused in 2002 of raping a woman, identified only as Sonya, at his home in Barangay Balaoi in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.
