The man who shot and killed American singer Christina Grimmie, who had been a contestant on the popular U.S. television show "The Voice," traveled to Orlando from another Florida city and was armed with two loaded handguns and a hunting knife, the Orlando Police Department said. Grimmie was known as a YouTube star and for finishing third in the sixth season of U.S. broadcaster NBC's reality TV singing competition "The Voice" in 2014. Grimmie, who was signing autographs when she came under attack on Friday night, died early Saturday of the gunshot wounds she sustained. Police said there was no evidence that Loibl and Grimmie had had any type of relationship or that the attacker had tried to contact the singer via social networks. "Detectives are looking at his phone and computer in hopes of identifying a motive," he added.
