Burglars stocking up on high-demand hair straighteners heading into Christmas are being blamed for a spate of break-ins at at least seven hair salons. Victoria Jayne Beautiful Hair, Trademarx and Bijonei Hair Designs are among salons targeted by burglars in the past three weeks in Palmerston North. But the grinches looking for a good hair day have been thwarted by the evasive manoeuvres of NV Hair Design. Tania Greenland's salon Trademarx Hair Design was broken into three weeks ago.
