Manchester City beat Liverpool in race Fluminense teenager Kayky

The teenager is one of the brightest talents in Brazil and has already broken into the Fluminense first team, attracting the attention of the likes of Liverpool, Shakhtar Donetsk and clubs in Spain. Sky Sports’ Fabrizio Romano reports that Man City will pay an initial £8.5m for the forward, but that could rise to around £15m with add-ons. The forward will not arrive in Manchester until next year, although a five-year contract has been agreed from there on in, when he will join up with the City youth set-up. Kayky has scored in his last two games for Fluminense in their state championship campaign, scoring his first professional goal earlier this month. City have also been linked with another teenager from Fluminense, midfielder Metinho, who is also expected to move to the Premier League leaders next year.
