A dire first half saw the Premier League champions concede twice in the first half during their opening match against Lyon. They weren't able to battle back, falling to a 2-1 defeat - it's not how Pep Guardiola will have wanted to start. City will be looking to bounce back immediately as they shift their focus back to the league. Cardiff on the other hand are struggling and are yet to find their first Premier League win.
