Man City boss Pep Guardiola is a big admirer of the England international and is determined to land the 25-year-old this summer. An initial bid of £75m plus add-ons is now ready to be launched, although Aston Villa are expected to reject that. City are confident he wants to join them, although there is a growing acceptance they will have to fork out £100m to sign him.
