With Mount’s contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire next summer, United have made the England international one of their transfer targets. After an initial bid was rebuffed last week, United returned with an offer of £45million plus £5million in add-ons. England midfielder Mason Mount would add a fresh dimension to Manchester United. Mount came through the ranks at Chelsea, scoring 27 goals and providing 22 assists in 129 Premier League appearances.
