Manchester United arrive in Roma as favourties after their dominating first leg at the Old Trafford. They got close when Gianluca Mancini was denied by David de Gea and former United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan headed into the side-netting. The United forward was sent through by Fred and he slammed his finish past Antonio Mirante’s hands. Nicolas Pepe and Emile Smith Rowe both had chances but their efforts were wide early in the second half. Villarreal will face United in Gdansk’s Stadion Miejski on 26 May.
