The Maple Leafs backed off -- very quickly -- from a controversial sign outside the visitors dressing room. So quickly, you have to wonder how the original sign went up in the first place. On opening night the Maple Leafs were duly praised for a new sign outside their own room. It was nicely lit, in blue, with the team's motto on the forefront: Honour, Pride, Courage. Behind the motto were reproductions of the engravings of the Leafs Stanley Cup champion teams.
